Brandmatch.ie operates as a communications platform which allows registered users to post onto and search for brand opportunities.

This policy, together with our Terms and Conditions and any other documents referred to in them, set out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.

The information contained in this Privacy Policy shall be governed and construed in accordance with Irish law and be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

HOW WE GATHER INFORMATION

Only registered users of Brandmatch.ie can browse the website, and so personal information must be supplied before any access is given to the website. Should you decide to use our website, the information you have provided will be used to facilitate the provision of our services to you.

When registering as a Service User (“SU”) and upon seeking information on an opportunity via Brandmatch.ie or Service Advertiser (“SA”) displaying information on Brandmatch.ie, you will be asked to provide information to us. We will inform you at the time of collecting information from you whether you must provide the information or whether the provision of the information is optional. We will collect and process the following data about you:

Service Advertiser (SA)

By agreeing to this policy you agree that we have informed you at the time of collecting information from you that the information you provide to us will be accessible to other users of Brandmatch.ie, other users or by third parties so that you are in a position to take an informed decision on whether to provide the information to us.

• in order to register as service advertiser, we will require you to supply your name, email address, contact telephone number, postal address, company name and company contact details;
• Detailed descriptions of opportunities
• Detailed descriptions of your company
• Images, PDF’s, video’s and other media
• Company logo’s
• Company and opportunity testimonials
• Identified Brand Match criteria information
• in order to ensure the information supplied to us is held securely, and to ensure the privacy of other registered users of Brandmatch.ie, we may occasionally request proof of identity before allowing access to your personal information;
• if you place an opportunity on Brandmatch.ie, we retain all information regarding the opportunity placed within the data log and on the opportunity placement record. Please see the clause below regarding the information that you submit to payment providers in connection with your brand opportunity on Brandmatch.ie;
• payment details (Brandmatch.ie retains no record of this information once payment has been completed);
• phone calls may be recorded by us from time to time; and details of advertisements and enquiries you submit through Brandmatch.ie, our inbound SMS service or any other means.

Service User (SU)

By agreeing to this policy you agree that we have informed you at the time of collecting information from you that the information you provide to us will be accessible only to Brand Match.ie and to no other third party or service advertiser (SA) unless requested by you and that you are in a position to take an informed decision on whether to provide the information to us.

• in order to register as service user, we will require you to supply your name, email address, contact telephone number, postal address, company name and company contact details;
• in order to ensure the information supplied to us is held securely, and to ensure the privacy of other registered users of Brandmatch.ie, we may occasionally request proof of identity before allowing access to your personal information;
• phone calls may be recorded by us from time to time; and details of advertisements and enquiries you submit through Brandmatch.ie, our inbound SMS service or any other means.
• we retain all information regarding the registration within the data log record

HOW THE INFORMATION IS USED

Except as set out in this privacy policy, we do not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of your personal information.

Service Advertisers (“SA’s”) use Brandmatch.ie by placing brand opportunities onto the website for Service Users (“SU’s”) to review. SA’s are able to manage, change, and remove the opportunities submitted to Brandmatch.ie through 'My Adverts'. SA’s need personal login details to access 'My Adverts', which will have been supplied to them on completion of registration with Brandmatch.ie.

The information contained in the opportunities is at the discretion of the SA. You agree that if you place an opportunity on Brandmatch.ie then we can provide interested service users with the contact details that you provide to us on the website. You acknowledge and agree that you may be contacted using the information you have provided to Brandmatch.ie by service users.

The service advertiser’s opportunity may appear in the form of the opportunity image and short description only on the featured section of the Brandmatch.ie homepage from time to time to encourage service users to register. This will be viewable by anyone who visits brandmatch.ie.

Service users will be granted access to brandmatch.ie following an approval process which identifies their background and place of business. This process is put in place to give legitimate marketing professionals only full view of the service advertiser’s opportunity and information.

Brandmatch.ie service users can choose to either contact the service advertiser directly or have the service advertiser contact them by choosing the relevant option under the “I’m Interested” button. This will allow the service user to decide whether they wish to have the service advertisers details sent to them or have their own contact details sent to the service advertiser. As a service user, you agree to only contact a service advertiser using Brandmatch.ie or using information that we give to you for the purposes of dealing with the brand opportunity. As a service advertiser you agree to only use the information that we provide on interested service users for the purpose of dealing with the brand opportunity.

We use information held about you in the following ways:

• to develop relevant content from Brandmatch.ie and ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;
• to provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you including information (such as information on offers) from us, Brand Match Limited and our selected partners, and to notify you about changes to our service, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes;
• to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us;
• to deliver and maintain a high quality service;
• to assist you if you are experiencing a problem with Brandmatch.ie;
• to allow you to access Brandmatch.ie and to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so;
• to conduct market research as part of a survey of our services and for the purposes of compiling statistics.

INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES

We do not disclose to any third party personal information that you provide to us unless we have your permission or we believe the law permits or requires it.

It may be necessary to transfer your personal information to other group companies or service providers located in countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). This may happen where our servers or suppliers and service providers are based outside of the EEA or where you use our services and products while visiting countries outside of the EEA. DATA AND COOKIES
